Awards Information
The Texas Public Pool Council is proud
to present the 8th Annual TPPC Awards Ceremony. These
awards are presented to agencies and individuals who
demonstrate these qualities:
- Service to their community
- Service to the aquatic industry
- Reflect the values and further the goals of the
Texas Public Pool Council
Agency of the
Year
The TPPC Agency Of The Year Award is given to the agency
that best demonstrates:
- Significant impact on the youth and families of
their local community
- Successful implementation of an innovative existing
or new program
This award will be given to an agency
who is recognized by TPPC as having demonstrated effective,
quality aquatics programming. This award is has three
different classes:
- Agency of the Year Award: Class I (population over
100,000, school districts, and private organizations)
- Agency of the Year Award: Class II (population 50,001-99,999)
- Agency of the Year Award: Class III (population
up to 50,000)

TPPC Programming of the Year
Award
The Texas Public Pool Council (T.P.P.C.) Programming
of the Year Award is given to the agency that best demonstrates:
- Significant impact on the youth and families of
their local community through programming
- Successful implementation of an innovative existing
or new program

Form: TPPC Programming of the Year Award
This award will be given to an agency who is recognized
by the Texas Public Pool Council as having demonstrated
effective, quality aquatics programming.
Cindy Hallaran
Distinguished Service Award
The Cindy Hallaran Distinguished Service Award is given
to an individual whose activities best represent unselfish
devotion in service to the profession of aquatics as
exemplified by Cindy Hallaran. This award will be given
to an individual who is recognized by the TPPC as having
made significant contributions to the mission of TPPC.

Nominations
In addition to the attached nominations form, all nominations
must be accompanied by a citation of accomplishments
(approximately 150 words in length) summarizing the
accomplishments and work of the nominee who is to be
considered for the award. A photograph of the nominee
may be submitted with the nomination form but is not
required.
Nomination form, citation of accomplishments,
and photograph must be submitted to the nominations
committee no later than November 30, 2007. Nominations
or requests for information may be made to:
